During our days, dry cleaning (Indianapolis days in my case) curtains and wooden blinds needed some detachment procedure from the windowpane and rod itself. Then everything was cleaned separately on their shop, or outside the house just to achieve a perfect cleaning. They just let the curtains on hang, cleaned it, put some safe gas in it and everything fell into its proper place. In just 30 minutes, cleaning done, and all the dirt was gone. Well, not bad for a 60-year-old like me, because they just told me that it was a new invention and my home was the lucky guinea pig.
